Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation has launched the “Pashupatinath Nepal Darshan Yatra” aboard a Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC tourist train from Indore on June 12. Officials said this will be the first Bharat Gaurav tourist train to travel outside India.
The 10-day journey will cover major destinations in Nepal, including the Pashupatinath Temple, Pokhara, Chitwan National Park and the Manakamana Temple. The package also includes a ropeway ride and Jeep safari.
Passengers can board from several stations across Madhya Pradesh, including Ujjain, Bhopal, Itarsi and Jabalpur. The train will have First AC, Second AC and Third AC categories with onboard dining and hotel accommodation included.
The package fare starts from ₹62,710 and covers rail travel, meals, sightseeing, hotel stay, local transport, travel insurance and tour services. Bookings are available through IRCTC.
