NBCC organized 19th edition of its SAMVAAD, an in-house platform for deliberations on corporate strategy and policy issues on September 12-13, 2024 at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi. This two event underlined the company’s remarkable achievements and setting a visionary roadmap for future advancements. The participants comprising senior executives of the organization, brought forth their views and ideas for strategic growth, business development, systemic improvements etc. that are critical for sustained growth in a competitive business environment. The sessions were interactive wherein the participants were encouraged to put forward their views.
The event was attended by Shri K. P. Mahadevaswamy, CMD, Shri Saleem Ahmad, Director (Projects), Shri Suman Kumar, Director (Commercial), Smt. Ritu Pande, CVO, Shri. Bhimrao Panda Bhosale, Independent Director, Shri. Asim Misra, Independent Director, Shri Novman Ahmed, MD, HSCC and other senior officers of NBCC, HSCC, HSCL and NSL. Shri Sanjeet, JS & FA, MoHUA and Shri. Rajeev Kumar, Independent Director, NBCC also graced SAMVAAD with their presence through video conferencing mode.
The event was also graced by Shri Srinivas Katikithala, Secretary (MoHUA), Shri Ravi Kumar Arora, JS (L&E, MoHUA) on 12.09.2024. Secretary, MoHUA appreciated the efforts of NBCC and provided his guidance in taking the company forward to greater heights. He also commended the platform of SAMVAAD which allowed for brainstorming for the development of the company. He emphasized how NBCC can contribute towards Nation building and infrastructure development in the country. He assured of his support, cooperation and guidance to NBCC.
SAMVAAD also featured crucial sessions by experts as a part of three-month Vigilance Awareness Campaign as a prelude to Vigilance Awareness Week 2024. The experts included Shri Shailendra Singh, C.T.E, Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), Dr. Praveen Kumari Singh, Ex. Additional Secretary, CVC and Shri K. Rajendran, Sr. DGM, Powergrid. The discussions by experts included topics like challenges of public procurement, ethics, governance and preventive vigilance.
SAMVAAD is a platform which allows ideas to be exchanged, challenges on various areas, solutions proposed and policy improvement. Samvaad was made accessible to all the employees of NBCC and subsidiaries companies HSCC, HSCL and NSL through E-Conferencing so that each and every employee could be sensitized about the ongoing discussions and have access to participation.
