ONGC is now a part of the transformative LNG Project in Mozambique’s Cabo Delgado province.

With 3 Indian PSUs (Oil India Limited, BPCL Limited & ONGC Videsh Ltd) holding a 30% stake in this $20 billion venture, it’s a strategic milestone for India’s energy-sufficiency journey, guided by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi leadership.

The project, spanning 7500 hectares, is a game-changer for India’s energy security and a testament to our commitment to self-reliance. Comprising the Golfinho-Atum gas field development and a massive LNG facility, this is a giant leap toward a brighter energy future.

The Hon’ble Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri reviewed the LNG Project side and the 13 MMTPA LNG trains with the Governor of the Province Dr Valige Tauabo, along with the Chairman & Managing Director of Oil India Limited Dr Ranjit Rath and Managing Director & CEO of ongc videsh ltd Rajarshi gupta
