Opposition camp ahead of two-day meeting in Mumbai beginning tomorrow The murmur has intensified in I-N-D-I-A. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has demanded that Arvind Kejriwal be made the PM candidate of the opposition alliance. Aam Aadmi Party national spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar said that Arvind Kejriwal should become the PM candidate on behalf of the opposition alliance.

    Inflation lowest in Delhi

Aam Aadmi Party national spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar said, “If you ask me, I would like Arvind Kejriwal to be the prime ministerial candidate. Even in such a high inflation, inflation in the national capital Delhi is the lowest. Free water, free education, free electricity, free bus travel for women, free pilgrimage for the elderly, yet a surplus budget has been introduced. He raises people’s issues and has emerged as a challenge-taker. ”

Joint campaign strategy may be discussed

The meeting of the opposition alliance ‘Indian National Development Inclusive Alliance’ (India) will be held in Mumbai from tomorrow. The opposition leaders will discuss a joint campaign strategy to take on the NDA in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and resolve differences among their members. They are also likely to draft a common minimum programme of the alliance, chalk out joint plans to launch agitations across the country and announce some committees for seat-sharing. The opposition alliance is also likely to announce a secretariat for smooth coordination among its constituents and it could be built in the national capital.

Some regional parties may also be involved.

There is also speculation that some more regional parties may join the 26-party opposition alliance in the Mumbai meeting. This is the third meeting of the alliance after Patna and Bengaluru. The first meeting of the alliance was held in Patna in June, while the second meeting was held in Bengaluru in July, where it was named ‘Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance’ (India). Ahead of the meeting in Mumbai, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar dismissed speculations that he would be made the convenor of ‘India’, saying he has no personal ambitions and wants to unite everyone. He had said on Sunday that “some more political parties” could join the Mumbai meeting of the India Alliance. He, however, did not name any party.
