    116 people arrested in Haryana over Nuh violence, internet suspended in several districts till August 5

    The Khattar government has now started taking action in the case of horrific violence in Nuh, Haryana on Monday 31 July. The Haryana Police has so far arrested 116 people following the violence in Nuh and Sohna in Gurugram. Along with this, more than 60 people are being questioned in custody. Along with this, 20 companies of paramilitary have also been deployed in the violence-affected areas to maintain peace.

    Rioters will compensate for losses: CM Khattar

    The Haryana Chief Minister said the government will not spare anyone responsible for the violence. Only those who carried out this riot will compensate for the loss. He said that a committee has also been formed to investigate the posts made on social media. Along with this, internet has been banned in Nuh till August 5. Internet services have also been suspended in Palwal, Faridabad, Sohna, Manesar and Pataudi.

    So far 6 people have died.

    Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Wednesday sought four more companies of central forces in the wake of communal violence in the state and said a battalion of IRB (Indian Reserve Battalion) would also be deployed in Nuh. He appealed to the people to maintain peace. Six people, including two home guards and a cleric, have been killed in the violence in Nuh and Gurugram. Along with this, many people are also injured.
