    Govt launches ‘Bharat Dal’ priced at Rs 60 per kg, Ministry decided to sell

    After the rising prices of tomatoes and onions, the government is now in action mode to curb the price of lentils. The Union Food Ministry has decided to sell chana dal at a subsidized price in the country. The government has decided to sell chana dal at a lower price in the market under the name ‘Bharat Dal’.

    In this, the government will save chana dal at the rate of Rs 60 per kg. The kg package will be sold at the rate of Rs 55 per kg. It is worth noting that chana dal is being sold at a lower price by NAFED in Delhi-NCR and will also be sold at Safal centers of NCCF, Kendriya Bhandar and Mother Dairy.

    Cheap pulses will be sold at these stores across the country

    Union Minister of Consumer Food and Public Distribution Piyush Goyal has said that cheap chana dal will be sold in the country under the brand of Bharat Dal, in which the government will provide cheap chana dal to the common people. It is engaged in an exercise.

    Consumption of gram on a large scale

    Chana dal is the most produced dal in India. Chana dal is consumed by people from breakfast to dinner. Apart from this, gram flour is made through this dal, which is used to make snacks, snacks and sweets. In such a situation, its consumption is largely in all states from north to south.

    It is worth mentioning that before chana dal, the government has decided to sell tomatoes at cheaper rates in view of the rising prices of tomatoes.
