    (The Hitavada)

ITM University organised ‘Skill Development programme for Industry 4.0’ for the first time in Chhattisgarh at Hyatt, Raipur on Friday. This exclusive programme included industry meet followed by hands on practice workshop. General Manager Asia of Universal Robots Pradip Daid and Technical Officer Manish Kumar Garg were the keynote speakers.
ITM Group of Institutions has always been sensitive to the innovations and disruptive changes happening in academic and business ecosystem. In order to respond to current industrial scenario and changes brought by technological innovations, eminent experts and thought leaders of business and industry joined the brainstorming sessions and focused on the future strategies to survive and succeed in the ecosystem of Industry 4.0.
The industry 4.0 has rendered the skills acquired in last millennium mostly ineffective and insufficient. In order to address the changing skill set needed by Industry 4.0 scenario, ITM Group has started a series of Hi-tec Blue Labs. These labs are equipped with modern hardware and software technologies catering to CAD, CAM, CNC, Robotics, Rapid Prototyping, IOT and Automation, which are the essential elements of Industry 4.0. Labs are developed in-line with Make-in-India initiative taken by our Prime Minister and aim at developing global engineers who can support country to become factory for the world.
