Union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda on Saturday reviewed the progress of AIIMS-Bilaspur with senior officials of the ministry and National Buildings Construction Corporation Limited (NBCC) and directed the NBCC to complete the work before the deadline.Nadda emphasised the need for the construction of a helipad at AIIMS owing to the topography of the state where patients would be transported from far-flung areas, a release said. There should be separate lanes for pedestrians along with the vehicle-free zones, besides world-class facilities at the Institute for the visitors and attention should also be given to the construction of water harvesting plants.
