In view of the warning issued by the Met Department about occurrence of squally and high velocity winds in Dehradun in the next 48 hours, the District Magistrate SA Murugasen has declared a holiday on Tuesday for all government and private schools.According to the notice issued by the District Magistrate, all schools and anganwari centres would remain close as a precautionary measure. Due to the warning issued by the Met Department, the tourists who had arrived for an extended weekend too have rushed back home.
