Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday hinted at an early solution of the long-pending assets distribution issue between Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.Yogi Adityanath was in the temple town of Rishikesh to unveil the statue of Guru Gorakshnath at Sheelnath Samadhi Mandi at Lakshman Jhula Marg. Addressing a gathering, Yogi Adityanath said the dialogue between Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand on the distribution of assets was moving forward in the right direction and would be resolved soon. He asserted that he kept emotional bonding with Uttarakhand and the two states were trying to find solutions to the mutually concerned long-term pending assets distribution issues.
Yogi Adityanath, who hails from Pauri Garhwal district, asserted that Uttarakhand was his janam bhumi and the state’s contribution to the greenery of North India through its perennial rivers Ganga and Yamuna was immense. He said Uttarakhand was a land of spirituality and a large number of pilgrims from across the country and aboard come to Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, Yamunotri, Hemkund Sahib and other places of religious importance.
