Congress leaders in Uttarakhand are geared up for huge participation from the state in the proposed rally by Congress president Rahul Gandhi slated at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi.The Delhi rally, which is aimed at highlighting the rise in atrocities on Dalits and minorities in the country, will have participation of over 10,000 workers from Uttarakhand.Acting on the advice of the party high command, senior Congress leaders in the state have held a series of meetings to mobilise party workers towards ensuring high attendance of Congress workers from the state in the rally. The party high command had initially set a target of participation of 3,000 Congress workers from Uttarakhand but the state Congress leadership has surpassed the target and now hopes for the presence of 10,000 party workers in the rally.
