It will also connect major industrial clusters of these 13 districts. The pipeline project will be implemented by the GAIL (India) Limited, a government-owned gas transmission company. It will supply gas to twin city through the spur line under its city gas distribution (CGD) project. A total of Rs 1700 crore will be spent for the CGD project. The minister said construction of a LNG terminal has been started at Dhamra in Bhadrak district with an investment of Rs 6000 crore. It will convert liquid gases imported from USA, Australia and Qatar into gaseous form and supply through the pipelines, he added.
