UP stands in sharp contrast with peaceful and fair elections on every seat
Uttar Pradesh is the largest state of the country with 80 Lok Sabha and 403 assembly seats. In the recently concluded municipal elections, elections were held for 17 seats of mayor, 1420 of corporator, 199 of municipal council president and 5327 of member, as well as 544 of city panchayat president and 7177 of member, but there was not a single incident of even minor violence reported from anywhere. heard.
