Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday arrived at Mussoorie on a two-day visit during which he will interact with IAS probationers at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration besides attending cultural programmes.
Earlier in the day, governor K K Paul and chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat received the Prime Minister at the Jolly Grant airport. After a brief stopover, a special helicopter flew him to Mussoorie, sources in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) said.
“Modi is the second Prime Minister after the late Indira Gandhi, who will spend so much time with IAS probationers,” a senior IAS officer said.
