Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat today laid importance on self employment among the youths of the state. Addressing a day-long workshop in Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme in Dehradun, the Chief Minister said it was a matter of pleasure that youth of today in the state were fast taking to self-employment and assured all support to them from his government in this regard.
Laying stress on development of micro and mini enterprises, Trivendra Singh Rawat said such enterprises would not only create new employment opportunities but will also help in promotion of local products. He said the indigenous products of Uttarakhand have immense possibility in national market.Trivendra Singh also honoured officials of banks and state industries department who have rendered excellent performance in implementation of Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme. The Chief Minister also visited various stalls put up at the workshop.
