The Haryana government has appointed a new chief of the state police. IPS Shatrujit Kapoor has been appointed as the new DGP. The UPSC had recommended a panel of 3 names, in which their names have now been announced. A notification has been issued in this regard. Dgp PK Agarwal retired on August 15., After which the new DGP has been posted in a day.
Shatrujit Kapoor was born on October 21, 1966, in Phagwara, Punjab. Mohammad Aqeel, RC Mishra and Shatrujit Kapoor were included in the race for DGP. The names of all three were recommended.
