The Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), the corporate entity f the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP), has launched an initiative called ‘Project Parivartan’ with a view to enhancing the performance and efficiency of the organisation to bring about a change for continual and sustainable growth. The project is primarily a transformation initiative for the employees towards achieving a turnaround.
The project is a 14-month transformation journey for achieving the desired objectives/results, based on four aspects – bottom-up planning, turnaround implementation, performance management and change management aiming at long-term sustainable improvement. A communication session was organised by the Corporate Strategic Management Department on Tuesday at Ukkunagaram to discuss the progress of the project. RINL Chairman-cum-Managing Director P.K. Rath and Director (Projects) P. Raychaudhury attended.
