As many as 74 trains have cancelled ahead as a CBI court in Panchkula will pronounce verdict against Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insaan in connection with a decade old rape case today, according to ANI report. It has been learnt that bus services from Delhi to Punjab and Haryana were stopped in view of the law and order situation. Army has been deployed and indefinite curfew was imposed as thousands of Dera Sacha Sauda followers have gathered in Panchkula. Apart from these, mobile services have been suspended. However, residents of Gurgaon and Faridabad will able to use mobile internet. The central government has assured the state governments of Punab and Haryana of all-possible-support.

Dera Sacha Sauda has a huge following in both the states, which are on a high alert. Authorities were also monitoring social media posts, according to reports. However, in what appeared to be some relief for a stretched administrative machinery, Ram Rahim Singh said today that he would appear in person before the special CBI court today while appealing to his followers to maintain peace, according to PTI report.
