Additional Chief Secretary Navneet Sehgal, who is known in the country’s bureaucracy, is retiring on Monday after nearly 25 years of service. Navneet Sehgal’s style of functioning in the UP bureaucracy has been recognized as an aggressive and bold officer. The government has been continuously completing very important projects keeping them in an important role. Navneet Sehgal is considered a good manager with the IAS in the UP bureaucracy. He was also a trouble shooter in several governments.
Not only this, Navneet Sehgal is playing an important role in different sports associations of Uttar Pradesh. Even after retirement, Sehgal will continue to make his mark as a sports administrator. However, Navneet Sehgal held many important positions. But he was more famous for appointments in the fifth floor and media-related departments.
Navneet Sehgal’s most important first posting was that of vice-chairman Haridwar Development Authority. After some time, the iron of his talent had accepted the rule. At a very young age, he was made joint secretary of the Home Department. When the Bharatiya Janata Party was in power in Uttar Pradesh and the Prime Minister was Lucknow MP Atal Bihari Vajpayee, he was in an important role like the District Magistrate of Lucknow.

He was also given the post of Director Suda for implementing important schemes of Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. During the time of different governments, Navneet Sehgal was also the secretary to the Chief Minister of the state for 12 times. He did a fantastic job even when he had a relatively insignificant role in departments such as the Department of Charitable Services and the Khadi Village Industry.
