Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting election-bound Karnataka for the second time in 15 days to address a rally in Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah’s hometown of Mysuru on February 19. The PM had addressed a mammoth rally in Bengaluru on February 4, where he had dubbed the Congress government in the state as a “10%” (commission) one.

The PM’s visit will be followed by BJP national president Amit Shah, who will be attending rallies across the state for seven days days from February 20 to 28, with a couple of gaps in between. Shah will first address a “Navashakti samavesha” at the Sangh Parivar stronghold of Dakshina Kannada district, followed by a rally with fishermen at neighbouring Udupi. The sitting Congress MLA in Udupi, Pramod Madhwaraj, belongs to this community.
