To honour the 125th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee, a visionary nationalist and one of the key architects of modern India, the Ministry of Heavy Industries is organizing a Special Lecture Session on 28th July 2025 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
As a national tribute to Dr. Mookerjee’s remarkable legacy, the Government of India is observing this milestone to celebrate his enduring contributions to the nation. In alignment with this, the Ministry of Heavy Industries will host this commemorative event to reflect upon his life, values, and dedication to national integration and public service.
The event will be graced by Shri Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma, Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Steel, as the Chief Guest, and Shri Kamran Rizvi, Secretary, Ministry of Heavy Industries, as the Guest of Honour.
The session will feature a keynote address by Shri Binay Kumar Singh, Director of the Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Research Foundation. His talk will offer profound insights into Dr. Mookerjee’s vision, ideology, and service to the nation, with the aim of inspiring future generations to uphold the principles of unity, integrity, and commitment to national development.
