L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering Ltd has secured engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts worth about Rs. 2,100 crore for crude distillation and vacuum distillation unit (CDU & VDU). One order has been received from Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL), Visakhapatnam Refinery, and the other one is an extension to an ongoing contract for Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), Jamnagar, Gujarat.
The 9 million tonne per annum CDU & VDU project is a part of HPCL’s Visakhapatnam Refinery modernisation project, and it involves EPC and commissioning, the company said in a statement here.L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering has been serving the onshore hydrocarbon sector since the early 1990s.
