The opposition alliance ‘Indian National Development Inclusive ‘ (‘India) has gradually started gearing up for the Lok Sabha elections. The campaign committee of the opposition alliance has proposed joint rallies in four cities. The ‘ coordination committee of the ‘India’ Alliance will take a final decision on this proposal of the publicity committee. The four cities where the rally has been proposed are Bhopal, Guwahati, Delhi, , , Nagpur and Patna.
The meeting will be held at Sharad Pawar’s residence on September 13
The decision to hold joint rallies in four cities was taken at a meeting of the Campaign Committee of the India Alliance in New Delhi yesterday. The proposal has now been sent to the coordination committee. The coordination committee meeting will be held on September 13 at NCP chief Sharad Pawar’s residence in New Delhi. In this meeting, a final decision on the proposal of the publicity committee can be taken.
The meeting was held at Mallikarjun Kharge’s residence yesterday
Earlier yesterday, a meeting of leaders of India’s constituent parties was held at the residence of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. In this meeting, the strategy related to the special session of Parliament was discussed. The central government has called a special session of Parliament from September 18 to September 22. The opposition parties have decided to raise issues related to the Adani Group and some other key issues during the session. Sources said Congress Parliamentary Party chief Sonia Gandhi will write to Prime Minister Narendra Modi urging him to pass the Women’s Reservation Bill in the upcoming session. The bill has been passed by the Rajya Sabha. The opposition parties have also decided that their next meeting will be held in Bhopal and the first public meeting will also be held in Madhya Pradesh. Assembly elections are scheduled to be held in Madhya Pradesh later this year.
Besides Kharge and several other Congress leaders, dmk leader T R Baalu, Nationalist Congress Party leader Supriya Sule, Trinamool Congress’ Derek O’Brien, Janata Dal (United)’s Rajiv Ranjan Singh, Aam Aadmi Party’s Sanjay Singh, Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Raut,Samajwadi Party’s S.T. Hasan and some other leaders attended the meeting.

After the meeting, Kharge posted on social media site ‘X’ , , ” For the first time, the government is calling a special session of Parliament without giving an agenda. No opposition party was consulted or informed. This is not the way to run democracy. , “Every day, the Modi government presents a story of a possible ‘ ‘agenda’ in the media, creating an excuse to divert attention from the real issues that burden the people,” he claimed. The BJP wants to keep aside key issues like price rise, unemployment, Manipur, China, CAG report, , , , scams and weakening of institutions etc and cheat our people. The Congress president said ‘ the constituents of ‘India’ discussed the way forward for the special session. , “We will not shy away from raising people’s issues, our intention is to keep our focus on these,” he says.
