In a major sweep, HPCL bagged 6 awards out of 12 categories of the SCOPE Corporate Communication Excellence Awards 2019 Awards in a glittering function held in SCOPE Complex, New Delhi. HPCL emerged as the Winner of maximum number of awards amongst all CPSEs.

- 1st Prize: Best Annual Report
- 1st Prize: Innovative Stakeholder Interface
- 2nd Prize: Best House Journal [Hindi] Category
- 3rd Prize: Best House Journal [English] Category
- 3rd Prize: Best Corporate Communication Campaign & Program – Internal Communication
- Public Relation & Corporate Communication Person of the Year – Sh. Rajeev Goel, CGM-PRCC
The awards were presented during the SCOPE CC summit by Dr. B P Singh, Ex-Governor of Sikkim (IAS) in presence of other dignitaries. SCOPE CC Excellence Awards strive to recognize excellence and praise worthy efforts in the field of Public Relations & Corporate Communications in PSEs, with a special emphasis being placed on creativity and out-of-the-box ideas.
The awards were finalized after the evaluation of 183 entries in record time in the most stakeholder-friendly and transparent manner by Team SCOPE. The Jury presided by the Information Commissioner consisted of eminent personalities ranging from Civil Servants, Academicians, Communication & Media Professionals.
