Himachal Pradesh Elections 2017:Vikramaditya, Sukhu and Bali File Papers

Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh’s son Vikramaditya Singh, PCC president Sukhwinder Sukhu, Transport Minister G S Bali , AICC general secretary Asha Kumari and BJP’s Shimla MLA, Suresh Bhardwaj, were among the prominent leaders who filed their nomination papers on Monday. All leaders put up a show of strength as they filed their papers on the last day of filing nominations.

Pramod Sharma, a university professor and former loyalist of Virbhadra Singh, also led an impressive procession to file his nomination papers from Shimla (Rural), a constituency from where Vikramaditya Singh is contesting for the first time.

Vikramaditya was accompanied by his father, Virbhadra Singh, mother Pratibha Singh and sister Aparajita Kumari to file nomination papers, after visiting Shimla’s famous Kali Bari temple. On Monday, 275 candidates filed their papers in 12 districts.Total number of candidates who has filed their nominations is 475.
