Goods Valued At Rs 15-20 Thousand Crores Are Being Exported From Moradabad: CM Yogi

In a scathing attack on the Congress and Samajwadi Party, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated on Monday that the parties have torn apart the social fabric of both the country and the state by exploiting caste, opinion, and religion for petty political ends.He urged the public to remain vigilant against divisive forces, noting that before 2017, those who divided society along caste lines would often bow and submit to rioters.

The Chief Minister made these remarks while addressing a district-level mega employment and loan fair at Aryabhatta International School. At the event, 100 companies offered over 15,000 job opportunities to the youth of Moradabad. Additionally, CM Yogi distributed loans totaling Rs 175.50 crore and tablets to 2,500 young individuals.

During the program, he also inaugurated and laid the foundation for 292 development projects worth Rs 401 crore. CM Yogi highlighted the significant strides Uttar Pradesh has made in development over the past seven and a half years. He noted that the state’s credit-deposit ratio, which was 44 percent before 2017, has now risen to 60 percent, with a goal to reach 65 percent.The Chief Minister emphasized that Uttar Pradesh has become a key driver of national development and that Moradabad is emerging as a crucial growth engine within the state.

Highlighting the achievements of the double-engine government, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath noted that over 160,000 police personnel have been recruited, with 20 percent of these positions filled by women.  He noted that the recent police recruitment process for more than 60,200 posts has been completed, and plans are underway to issue recruitment notices for an additional 40,000 posts once appointment letters are distributed.

CM Yogi also outlined plans for the future, stating that within the next two years, two lakh youths will secure government jobs. Additionally, he emphasized that investments in the state will create employment opportunities for one crore people.Describing Uttar Pradesh as the second-largest economy in the country, he projected that in the next 3-4 years, the state will surpass others to become the leading economy in India. He assured that this economic growth will significantly boost per capita income, potentially increasing it three to four times.

CM Yogi mentioned that before 2017, when government jobs were available in Uttar Pradesh, the ‘chacha-bhatija’ duo would engage in ‘extortion.’ “Chacha Bhatija ki jodi aisi khurafat karti thi ki nyayalay ko naukri par rok lagani padti thi (The uncle-nephew pair was involved in such mischief that the courts had to intervene and halt job appointments). Government jobs fell victim to their extortion, leaving youth unemployed and forcing many to migrate to other states in search of employment.”*

He added that today, law and order in Uttar Pradesh have strengthened. The success of the double-engine government’s zero-tolerance policy toward corruption and crime has significantly enhanced Uttar Pradesh’s reputation across the country.Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reflected on the state of Uttar Pradesh before 2017, noting that riots were common before festivals, and neither women nor business people were secure. He emphasized that in the past seven and a half years, Uttar Pradesh has been free from riots, with festivals being celebrated peacefully.

CM Yogi highlighted improvements in safety and respect for businesspeople, stating that traders are now provided with life insurance coverage of Rs 10 lakh. Additionally, job opportunities have been created for the state’s youth.He asserted that a government with vision can fulfill the dreams of its people, and with determination, even seemingly impossible goals can be achieved.Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath highlighted that among the projects inaugurated and laid the foundation for during the program, 156 are dedicated to the Kundarki Assembly. He praised Moradabad for aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision by enhancing air connectivity.

He praised the handicraftsmen and artisans of Moradabad, noting that their craftsmanship has gained international recognition. “Today, goods worth approximately Rs 15-20 thousand crores are being exported both nationally and globally,” he remarked. CM Yogi assured that the development process will continue without interruption.During the program, the entrance of the Moradabad Development Authority was named in honor of former MP Kunwar Sarvesh Singh. Additionally, the foundation stone for a park dedicated to him was laid. A statue of Kunwar Sarvesh Singh will be installed there.

Along with CM Yogi, BJP state president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Minister Dharampal Singh, Cooperation Minister JPS Rathore, Secondary Education Minister Gulab Devi, Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Kapil Dev Aggarwal, Parliamentary Affairs and Industrial Development Minister of State Jaswant Saini, Minister of State for Agriculture Baldev Singh Aulakh and other dignitaries were present in the program.
