Gold door to be installed in Ram temple’s sanctum sanctorum, special brick being built in Chandigarh

The construction work of the temple at the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya is going on at a rapid pace. The first floor of the temple is almost ready. It is estimated that the temple will be revived in January 2024. Along with this, it will also be opened for common devotees. The temple’s chief priest Satyendra Das has shared many things related to the construction work of the temple in an India TV conversation.

He said that 42 doors will be installed in the Ram temple. These doors are being made from teak wood imported from Maharashtra. But a gold door will be installed in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. Along with this, peacocks, urns, chakras and flowers will be carved on other doors, but the brightness of the womb will be different. White marble of Makrana will be installed on the walls and floor of the sanctum sanctorum with inlay work.

Along with this, he told that two idols of Lord Ram’s child form will be installed in the sanctum sanctorum. One statue will be movable while the other statue will be immovable. At present, the temporary Ram temple, which is the idol of Ramlala sitting with the brothers, will be a moving idol, this idol will be worshiped. There will be another immovable statue, devotees of this idol will visit. This statue is still being prepared. He said that three statues are being built in Ayodhya. One of these three idols will be installed in the sanctum sanctorum. This statue will be installed all over Ayodhya.

Satyendra Das, the chief priest of the temple, said that in addition to the gold door in the Ram temple, sandstone of Bansi Paharpur in Rajasthan is being installed. Apart from this, Marvel of Makrana, granite of Telangana, vaccine of Maharashtra are being used and special bricks have also been made in Chandigarh to be installed in the temple.
