The preparations for celebrating International Yoga Day on June 21 are in full swing in the capital city. A marathon yoga session in which 8,000 people will participate will be held at the parade ground.“The state-level yoga programme will be held at the parade ground from 7 to 8 am, according to the yoga protocol issued by the Ministry of Ayush,” said Ayush Director Arun Kumar Tripathi.The state brand ambassador of yoga Dilrajpreet Kaur will lead the session with teams of performers coming from yoga schools in Haridwar and elsewhere. The session will be attended by Chief Miniter Trivendra Singh Rawat, Minister for Department of Ayush Harak Singh Rawat, Minister for Department of Tourism Satpal Maharaj and state officials.
