Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Union Steel Minister Birender Singh inaugurated 3 MTPA basic oxygen furnace, 2 MTPA DRI plant and coal gasification plant at Angul steel plant on Saturday. The plant is operated by Jindal Steel and Power Ltd. The new technology will help in making steel using domestic coal.
