The Centre is learnt to be working on a slew of proposals for J&K in consultation with the state administration. Under discussion is a Rs 1,000-crore PM’s package for education and employment of J&K youth in collaboration with Dell, Intel, Amazon web services and others.
Winter internship for students at IITs, creation of sport and fitness infrastructure, provision for mobile theatres that can travel to villages and industrialisation and start up plans are alsobeing discussed, said officials. Last week, the Centre had directed ministries to come up with proposals for J&K and conduct ground visits for latest assessments in consultation with the J&K administration.
