In yet another step towards creating a Skilled India, Chairman cum Managing Director (CMD) Central Coalfield Limited (CCL) Gopal Singh along with Joint Secretary, Rashtriya Sewa Bharti, Gurusharan Prasad laid foundation of Residential Skill Development Centre at Sewa Dham, Jonha, Ranchi.
The Residential Skill Development Centre is being built as part of the MoU signed with Jharkhand Government’s Jharkhand State Skill Development Mission (JSDM) at Sewa Bharti’s campus “Sewa Dham” at Jonha, Ranchi. The centre will focus on to imparting technical training and skilling the youths from Scheduled Cast and Scheduled Tribe community and Below Poverty Line families from the villages in and around Sewa Dham.
Chief Guest of the function Singh while appreciating the selfless service of “Sewa Bharti” said that it is an historic moment for everyone including that we are able to contribute towards this noble cause. He said that this institute under “Sewa Bharti” will definitely come up as model centre for others to follow. Highlighting the persistent effort of CCL to achieve holistic growth apart from coal production, Singh, said that we have been striving to deliver the fruits of development to the last member of our society and this centre will further this cause. Singh assured that CCL will extend every possible support to “Sewa Bharti” in their great mission.
Speaking on the occasion Director (Personnel) RS Mahapatro said that CCL is committed to arrange technical education to its meritorious children of Jharkhand and this centre will definitely change demography of youths staying in around upcoming skill development centre.
