British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, who has called ‘I am a proud Hindu’, is in India to attend the G20 Summit. Today is the second day of the G20 meeting. Ahead of the second day’s meeting, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak today visited the Akshardham temple in Delhi. The rest of the leaders will visit Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial at Rajghat. According to the information, along with Rishi Sunak, his wife has also come to visit the Akshardham temple. Rishi Sunak’s wife Akshata Murthy is the daughter of Indian businessman and Infosys owner Narayana Murthy.

According to the information, Sunak will stay in Akshardham temple for one hour before the G20 meeting. Earlier, Rishi Sunak had praised India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that he has a lot of respect for PM Modi. He said that he is willing to support PM Modi in making the G20 a huge success. Earlier, while talking to the media, he had said that I am proud to be a Hindu. “I was brought up in India. I have lived in Bengaluru, my wife has also lived in Bengaluru. My in-laws are also here. I lived in Delhi. We have also recently celebrated the festival of Raksha Bandhan. Hopefully, I can stay here for the next few days and i can go to the temple. ‘
Police beef up security
Delhi Police and security agencies have made elaborate security arrangements in view of Rishi Sunak’s visit to the temple. The Delhi Police has beefed up security around the temple in view of his visit. Barricading has also been installed on the roads. Akshardham Temple is the temple of Swaminarayan.
