Firing salvos at arch-rival Congress, BJP president Amit Shah said on Saturday evening that a party that caters to the interests of one family cannot work in the country’s interest.
Embarking on the BJP’s Vistaar Yatra from Jammu, Shah sought optimum support from intellectuals, youth and workers of the party in the BJP’s quest to make Jammu and Kashmir one of its bastions.
Addressing a gathering of prominent citizens in the evening, Shah traced the history and ideology of the BJP to Dr Syama Prasad Mukherjee and said the BJP was based on principals and upholds its internal constitutional values.
