Too keen to wrest power from the Congress, BJP bigwigs, including former Chief Minister PK Dhumal, Kangra MP Shanta Kumar and Union Health Minister JP Nadda, will assess the party’s poll prospects at a meeting with MLAs, MPs, party candidates and office-bearers at Hamirpur on November 19.Even as Congress and BJP leaders are trying to assess their poll prospects, the saffron party has decided to hold a review meeting on November 19. The meeting, based on inputs from leaders from all over the state, will study the polling pattern from rural and urban areas so as to get some idea about the number of seats that the party is winning.Even though the BJP is quite confident of forming the government but with no clear wave in favour of any party, the candidates have been left guessing about their fate in many segments where the contest seems close.
