(NDTV) आयकर विभाग ने बेनामी संपत्तियों के खिलाफ जारी कार्रवाई के तहत अब तक 1833 करोड़ रुपये की संपत्तियां जब्त की है. केंद्रीय प्रत्यक्ष कर बोर्ड (सीबीडीटी) ने इसकी जानकारी दी. सीबीडीटी के चेयरमैन सुशील चंद्र ने कहा कि आयकर विभाग बेनामी संपत्तियों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई जारी रखेगा और यह काम रुकेगा नहीं. उन्होंने कहा, ‘मैं आपको यह भरोसा दे सकता हूं कि यह जांच कभी बंद नहीं होगी. हम इस तरह की संपत्तियों के बारे में हर उपलब्ध स्रोतों से सूचना एवं आंकड़े जमा कर रहे हैं. इस तरह की और भी संपत्तियों की पहचान की जाएगी तथा उन्हें जब्त…

(PTI) Revenue Secretary Hasmukh Adhia has been designated as the new Finance Secretary, an official order said today. Adhia is a 1981 batch IAS officer of Gujarat cadre. The vacancy was caused following the superannuation of Ashok Lavasa last month. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved designating Adhia as the Finance Secretary, the order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training said.
