(TOI) Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan will inaugurate a terminal of Indian Oil Corporation, state’s biggest, on November 29. IOCL officials said the automated terminal at Jharsuguda has been built at a total investment of Rs 140 crore. The oil terminal has a capacity to store 49,000 Kilo Litre, (coverage 22 days) with 2,200 KL per day sale of petrol, diesel and kerosene to cater more than 350 sale points within a radius of 550 km round the year supply.

The company said it has reached a landmark by commissioning an unprecedented rooftop project in India – a solar carport on the rooftop of the sprawling 70,000 sq mt Unity One mall in Rohini. It said in a statement that the unique rooftop carport is estimated to set off 438 tonne of carbon emission annually. (PTI) The income tax department will launch full-fledged assessment proceedings from January next year against those assessees who have deposited “suspicious” amounts of money in banks, post demonetisation, but have not filed their income tax returns (ITRs) till now.
