(Hindustan) वैश्विक स्तर पर दोनों कीमती धातुओं में मिश्रित रुख रहने के बीच जेवराती मांग कमजोर पड़ने से शुक्रवार को दिल्ली सर्राफा बाजार में सोना 100 रुपये लुढ़ककर 31,350 रुपये प्रति 10 ग्राम पर आ गया। औद्योगिक मांग घटने से चांदी भी 185 रुपये की गिरावट के साथ 39,385 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम रह गई। मांग घटने से दाम धड़ाम स्थानीय बाजार में मांग की सुस्ती से दोनों कीमती धातुओं के भाव गिर गए। सोना 99.99 फीसदी और 99.5 फीसदी शुद्धता की कीमत 100 रुपये की गिरावट के साथ क्रमशः 31,350 रुपये और 31,200 प्रति 10 ग्राम पर आ गई। आठ…

(FE) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has slapped Sunil Mittal’s Airtel Payments Bank with a fine of Rs 5 crore for breaching Know Your Customer (KYC) norms. The central bank said that a “monetary penalty of Rs 50 million” has been imposed on Airtel Payments Bank Limited for “contravening the Operating Guidelines for Payments Banks and directions issued by the RBI on KYC. The RBI this week has also imposed fine on three other banks — State Bank of India, Axis Bank and Indian Overseas Bank for non-compliance. In order to meet the requirement of thermal power plants (TPPs), Coal India Limited (CIL) and Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) have offered coal through road mode from available pithead stocks to TPPs which are located within 50 kms to 60 kms from the nearest mine. (PTI) The 7.2 per cent expansion in the economy during October-December quarter has put the country in one of the highest growth bracket in the world and recovery will continue to be sharp going ahead, Economic Affairs Secretary Subhash Chandra Garg said today.
