Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) will invest over ₹4,600 crore in a major oil and gas project in Konaseema district, Andhra Pradesh. The plan includes drilling 10 development wells, setting up two unmanned platforms, laying an offshore pipeline, and establishing an onshore gas processing facility. Hero MotoCorp Ltd reported a 65.24% rise in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) to ₹1,705.65 crore for the first quarter of FY26, driven primarily by gains from the partial dilution of its stake in Ather Energy during the latter’s IPO. In comparison, the two-wheeler giant had posted a consolidated PAT of ₹1,032.21 crore in the same quarter last fiscal, according to the company’s regulatory filing.
