An Army officer was killed and six others were injured in a fire incident at the Siachen Glacier . A Lieutenant Colonel was among the injured. The injured have been evacuated from the Siachen Glacier and taken to the hospital. The fire incident took place around 3.30 am.
According to the information, the Indian Army’s weapons bunkers / bunkers in Siachen Central Glacier have been damaged. The tent caught fire. A medical officer of the rank of captain died in this accident. A short circuit is said to be the cause of the fire. The injured soldiers have been admitted to the Chandigarh Army Hospital by helicopter.
