The Uttar Pradesh government today ordered a probe into alleged irregularities in recruitment of trainee junior engineers in the state power corporation by Special Task Force (STF).”The chief minister has ordered a STF probe into alleged discrepancies in recruitment of trainee junior engineers in UP power corporation. The online examinations for this was held in Feb 11,” an official spokesman said here. Quoting Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, he said, the state government has zero tolerance against corruption and for a transparent and clean image, a time bound probe is necessary.UP Energy Minister Shrikant Sharma had written a letter to the chief minister seeking a probe in the alleged discrepancies after he received several complaints.
