Adani Green Energy Arm Begins Operating New Solar Power Project In Khavda, Gujarat

Adani Green Energy Ltd said its wholly-owned subsidiary Adani Renewable Energy Fifty Seven Ltd has operationalised the incremental solar power project of 37.5 MW at Khavda in Gujarat.

With this, Adani Green Energy’s total operational renewable generation capacity has increased to 13,737.8 MW, the company said., the company said its wholly-owned subsidiary Adani Renewable Energy Holding Twelve Ltd was awarded a significant project by Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd (UPPCL) on March 27. The order grants the Adani subsidiary rights to supply 400 MW of solar power to UPPCL for 25 years.

The solar power will be generated from a grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) power project to be developed in Rajasthan. The tariff for the power supply has been fixed at ₹2.57 per kilowatt-hour (kWh).

Shares of Adani Green Energy Ltd ended the previous session 1.24% lower at ₹948 apiece. The stock has gained 22.4% in the past month but has declined 50.16% in the last six months.
