In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Rawat government shifted 21 officers, including Chief Secretary and Additional Chief Secretaries and three District Magistrates today.Chief Secretary S Ramawamy has been divested of the responsibilities of Department of Higher Education, programme implementation and externally aided and central government funded schemes. He will continue to hold the Departments of Aviation, Environment, Industries and Planning.
Additional Chief Secretary Ranbir Singh has been entrusted with the responsibilities of Department of Higher Education PWD and Estate.Principal Secretary Radha Raturi has been given the responsibilities of Department of Woman Empowerment and Child Development, Department of Personnel and Vigilance.
