The 17th edition of the two-day Hindustan Times Leadership Summit (HTLS) began today in New Delhi with Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivering the inaugural address. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Aditya Birla Group Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla and Netflix’s founder and CEO Reed Hastings will among the other key speakers during the event. Swimming champion Michael Phelps, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, actors Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, among others, will also speak their minds during the summit.
The theme for this year’s summit is ‘Conversations for a Better Tomorrow’. There are a lot of good things in corporate culture: Modi. We are promoting professionalism, rather than privilege: PM Modi on civil servants.
