Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan talked about Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana on Thursday. He informed that all SC/ST households, whether they belong to Socio Economic Caste Census (SECC) or not will be covered under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. He added that over 3.36 crore beneficiaries have been covered under this scheme till date, with 44% from SC/ST communities.
