Home Minister Calls Meet of CMs of States Bordering Bangladesh

Home Minister Rajnath Singh on December 7 in Kolkata calls a meet of CMs of states  whose border touches Bangladesh. In the meet they will discuss about the influx of Rohingyas and Bangladeshis and cross-border smuggling of fake currencies and drugs.

This would be the fourth meeting of the chief ministers of states, which share international borders, called by the home minister. Three separate meetings of chief ministers of states, sharing borders with Pakistan, China and Myanmar, was held earlier. On december 7 the chief ministers and home ministers of West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura and Mizoram are called as these states share their borders with Bangladesh.
