The NDA government has imparted skills training to nearly 40 million people in the last four years, Skill Development Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said on Wednesday. Of this, about 25 million people have been trained by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Pradhan said, outlining the achievements of the NDA government in last four years.
According to Pradhan, the ministry is working towards its target of setting up at least one Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra (PMKK) in each district by the end of the next financial year. “By July end, there will be 500 functional PMKK centres, and we hope to have such centres across 700 districts by the end of current financial year,” he said.
